Bluebird above 7500ft, valleys were socked in with heavy fog. Light east winds over the pass.
Snowpack
New 5-10mm surface hoar layer deposited on northly/shaded aspects after the 3/4 storm exited last night/this morning. Unusual given how warm it was over night at Rabbit Ears Snotel. Unlikely that it'll stick around. Got a few steep rollers to move on ski cuts, some shooting cracks seen on other steep rollers. Overall stability was fair outside of those steep rollers. Ski quality was good if you could avoid the 4 open snow pits.
