Clear, sunny skies. Wind coming from the south, visible and significant flagging noticeable from the ridgeline at the southern end of Waterfall canyon.
Snowpack
Soft, faceted, incohesive snow on northern aspects and all shaded aspects. Signs of warming snow due to sun exposure on SE-SW unshaded aspects at lower elevations below ~10,500 ft. At higher elevations across the canyon and up into the complicated terrain above Waterfall canyon, lots of signs of wind-transported snow on all visible aspects.
