Weather
Cold with light snow and overcast for much of the afternoon. Moderate northwest to west winds with some wind drifting happening.
Snowpack
About 8-10 inches of new snow resting on top a melt freeze crust on south-facing slopes. Anything near treeline has a denser slab. We noticed localized cracking and collapsing on most slopes. We got a significant shooting crack approximately 75ft in front of a ski cut on a south-facing slope.

We saw one small avalanche on the east face of Russel
