calm throughout the morning, foggy in the AM at 10000 ft, cleared to scattered clouds with the sunrise, tree's started to shed quickly with sun exposure

23cm storm snow above previous melt freeze crust, about 3cm new overnight, surface crust in the AM, crust broke down with sun exposure and the new snow was very moist to the dust layer by 0900, east face was able to get roller balls moving a bit around geology, our line was NE, very heavy but bonded well to that dust layer, off the snow by 1030.
