Snowpack

Short tour, checking on the wetting. The snowpack stayed supportable here through the mid-day. Boot pen was about 30cm. On an easterly tilted slope, the HS was around 80 to 90cm and moist/wet to the ground. The more NE-facing slopes had moist snow for the upper 10cm that was rollerballing but not enough to wet loose in this terrain. I dug on a 60-degree NE-facing aspect, with a 35-degree slope angle. Water had pooled at the dust interface down 18cm and a crust down 28cm. The 2/2 interface was large 15mm SH here. The SH was leaning over and had other grains starting to fill in the pore space. CTH SC at the 2/2 interface. HS here was 155cm.
