Weather
Soupy, gusty, foggy. Rain to over 9,000' with intense waves of rain, sleet, then snow, but only a cm of wet snow accumulation at lake level.
Snowpack
A thin crust over moist depth hoar deteriorated in the rain into a very wet mess of small Loose Wet avalanches, capped with a cm of fresh snow at the end of the day. At the reservoir, I dug a profile 90cm deep on a north-facing slope. Repeated three ECTP (SC) ranging from 12-25 hits on moist rounding depth hoar.
Avalanche
Numerous fresh and recent Loose Wet avalanches gouging to the ground.
