Weather

Clear skies in the AM giving way to scattered skies by mid-day. Winds were calm and temps ranged from 25F at the summit to 40F at Dry Lake.

Avalanche

Intentionally triggered (ski cut) several large loose avalanches on steep NW slopes above N. Soda Creek that ran fast, surprisingly far, and were much denser than yesterday's variety. Also noted several fresh large natural loose avalanches in the N Fork Soda drainage, S/SE aspect, that ran approx. 1500ft to creek bottom.
