The conditions in the alpine were awesome, we found a weak layer about 30cm under fresh snow but there was no reaction when we did our ski cut. We also did some jumping and there was no signs of weak snow. We climbed Paget north summit south couloir but couldn’t get to the top because there was too much snow near the top. We felt confident with the snow but it was too much work to push trough 1m of fresh snow. We climbed on the climbers left side of the couloir. The conditions in the couloir were pretty good, snow was firm in the middle but on the sides there was some good pow turns. The bottom was full of good snow and no signs of other skiers track. When we got lower in elevation we observed 3 small avalanches in open area in the trees. Nothing major and not big enough to cover someone but enough to distabilize you. Weather observation shoulder isn’t ready to be skied since there’s not enough snow to cover the rocks.
