Highwood pass conditions update - Thursday, Nov. 24: All windward / west facing aspects have been scoured to the bone by high winds. I assume this was overnight because trip reports from Nov 23 looked great. Leeward slopes / East facing aspects, while wind loading, appear suspect with insufficient coverage. We stopped at Chester lake, but with grass showing through around the trees, chose to head home.
