2 size 2s were noticed on the steep south at about 2200 meters. On the North at 2170, we did 5 compression tests with no results and 1 extended column test with no results. After our compression tests we pulled on the back of the column and had 2 sudden planar results roughly 30 and 50cms from ground; this was repeated 5 times. Seems like with a step down or a large load (such as a cornice failure) there is a chance of a deep, very high consequence avalanche. Be very aware of these two layers starting to wake up in this part of the world. They are waking up right now in other places. Height of snow was 180cms. We skied the north, ski pen was 30cms, great cold snow skiing! No signs of instability while skiing. The south would not have been a good idea yesterday.
