In sheltered areas at treeline and below, 3-15mm surface hoar overlies 10-15 cm of facets on shady aspects. On solar aspects 3-6mm SH overlies a 1-2 cm pencil MFcr. Upper pack was progressively resistant. Nov 18 MFcr was present up to 1800m and down 35-40cm. The Nov 5 MFcr was 35-40 cm off the ground and had 2mm rounding facets on top and below it.

Numerous size 1.5-2 LW avalanches on steep S and SW aspects. One size 3 LW that ran full path from near the summit of Mt. Brennan to Whitewater creek. No slab avalanches were observed in the drainage. All avalanches were greater than 72hrs old.
