Top Down: 0-55cm soft damp snow, 55cm MF crust, 55-80cm progressively firmer old snow, 80cm crust, 100cm to 200cm facets
Avalanche
Very recent Size 3+ avalanche on NW aspect of South Two Sisters Peak. Crown fracture estimated at 0.5 to 1.5 m. variable from our vantage point. Length of fracture may have been greater than 180m, view of slide to W was obscured by trees.
