Weather

clear in the morning, clouds rolled in earlier than forecasted, around noon. Winds were steady up above treeline 10-20. made for chilly conditions.

Snowpack

widespread wind affect ATL, wind was visibly blowing off ridgelines. Isolated collapses NTL and BTL, skinning was very punchy Dug a pit in big horn gulch area, 11,300 SSW found instability in new/old snow interface as well as our persistent Dec grains. Ski pen was 25 cm, boot pen was to the ground. HS 120 ECTP 23 x2 75 cm down ECTP 21 40 cm down PST 20/100 end 40 cm down PST 20/100 end 75 cm down.

Avalanche

Saw several avalanches but didn't get many good pictures. Everything I saw seemed to be the new/old interface from the most recent storm cycle.
