Weather

Sunny, warm (~30) increasingly windy with lots of snow transport on ridge top and snow plumes on peaks.

Snowpack

Bottom of slope, just past the eastern end of BTR. 8300ft. NE, 30 degree slope. Small gap in the trees and wind protected. HS 130cm. Obvious facet layers at 40cm and 63cm down (picture attached). Basal facets were wet. CT14 and 16 within new snow. CT22 @ 63cm down. CT24 at basal facet layer with entire column collapse. ECTP30 @ 63cm down. sudden collapse, Q1-Q2.
