Good freeze and travel conditions in the Alpine and treeline. A couple cm of new snow made for some soft skiing in the morning. Crusts broke down quickly below tree line. The snow was punchy on steep SE wind protected aspect at 12:15 at 2250m off the whaleback. A few new wet loose/wet slab avalanches to size 1.5 but thin cirrus clouds prevented it from getting hot today. On Monday serval deep persistence natural avalanches to ground occured to size 3 in the area but it was warmer than today.
