Dug a wind protected, south facing pit Weak layers at around 15cm (new snow) and 40cm CT showed no failures in weak layers, 15cm layer crumbled but no slab visible ECT failed at 40cm weak layer after 24 counts, no sign of propagation even after all 30 counts Tried triggering a cleaned up pit with a skier, no cracking or propogation seen. Another group dug a pit at a similar elevation but on a wind-affect west facing aspect and had very touchy results.
