Increasing cloud cover through the morning with light S-1 around 10 am. Skies started to clear at mid day and snow started again late afternoon. SW winds increasing and transporting snow around ridge tops.
Snowpack
On E-SE aspects > TL, the snow total is between 0 - 40 cm deep and mostly frozen. On NE aspect, the snow is about 1 m deep with supportive CR below the surface. NTL, the snowpack is > 1m, with ~10-15 cm soft wind slab on NE aspect. A 20-30 cm, very hard ice/MFcr layer cap the snowpack below. The recent dust layer we see in other areas is already melted into this layer. The mid-pack is concocting of more CR layers a P hard layers between. The bottom 20 cm is 4F hard 2mm of what looks like an old FC that went through a light MF cycle.
