Weather
Warm with temperatures climbing to upper 20s at 13,000 ft. Windy in the alpine with a cool, stiff westerly wind. Mostly sunny to partly cloud throughout the day.
Snowpack
Highly variable with more bare ground showing than last week on thin wind-exposed terrain, and on low-elevation slopes that are melting out. Melt water has made it to the basal facets on southerly slopes up to at least 13,200 ft, up to 12,500 on east and west-facing slopes, and just above 12,000 feet on northerly terrain. Snow surface warmed with moist corn conditions on all but northerly terrain in the alpine. Those slopes still hold cold snow with basal facets underneath, but facets showing signs of gaining strength and no recent dry slab avalanches observed in the last week despite viewing lots of terrain.
Avalanche
Lots of recent wet avalanche activity, both wet slabs and loose wet. Dozens and dozens of avalanches at all elevations. Some look to have run in the last couple days. These cover all but high-elevation due north aspects. I've tried to activity that looked fresh (last few days) here.
