Weather
Cold morning became warm and sunny day in Eureka.
Snowpack
Unknown in the bowls above. The snow by the ice on First Gully was single layer on the Eastern aspect at about 10,000 feet.
Avalanche
We didn't see any until one busted down the gully at us. Luckily, we were both anchored in to a small tree against the wall of the gully when it sht over the cliff above us. Though we were blasted pretty good, we were un-moved and left un-buried. We also saw two slides large enough to completely cover Stairway to Heaven as well as another large one cover Highway to Hell. The others we saw were much smaller, though most made it to the road or creek in the valley floor.
