Snowpack

The start zones of the Brooklyn slide paths were thin and weak. There were signs that north facing pockets had avalanched out of steep rocky terrain, but anything was small and did not gain mass as they traveled downhill. The largest pocekts of snow were observed to be midpath on crossloaded wind features and this is were we also guess the most slab is present. On approach, collapsing and cracking was also obseved below, but most on flatter terrain. The Brooklyns are not a huge concern at this point, but this will change in the upcoming weeks with more snow and wind.
