Weather

Heavy snow, 1 inch per hour for the AM. Fairly warm temps in the mid upper twenties at the parking lot.

Snowpack

15-18 inches new, with strong ridge top winds from the SW

Avalanche

Saw multiple small loose dry avalanches. One in particular entrained a significant amount of snow moving through dense aspens on a 35 degree slope. It moved more snow then I expected. The debris carried a few hundred feet down slope. It looked to be skier triggered. Only entrained new storm snow.
