15-20F winds 5-10mph S-SW Scattered 0-1" new snow Location: N aspect near 11,200ft in low angle glades below Perfect Trees

HS170cm with 30cm F hard storm snow/decomposing fragments on top of a 100cm slab comprised of various 1F/P/K hard layers above 30cm F hard basal facets. Shovel tap test revealed 3 planar failures in upper F hard layers and lack of bonding at the interface between 1/16-18/23 storm snow and harder layers 30cm below the surface. CT25SC@140cm down - Stubborn but reactive results with the entire snowpack failing at the upper basal facets ECTN - likely no propagation due to the depth of the slab. We witnessed repeat CT failures in ? of our tests, with no result in the third iteration, again likely a factor of spatial variability or column craftsmanship and depth of weak layer.
