Snowpack

On the generally East facing portion of Marble Bowl there was about 4" of recent snow above a temperature crust that existed until about 11000' The underlying crust seemed to minimize the amount of snow available for transport. Total snow depth at the lunch spot was around 120cms and total snow at the profile location on a South facing slope above Anthracite Creek was also around 120cms. At that profile there is a crust-facet-crust sandwich near the surface of the snowpack.
