Overcast, periods of light snow (S-1). -1c air temp 12800ft at 12:20. Some greenhouse warming. Light to moderate W/SW winds.

Snowpack

East facing run off of the north ridge of Trico just north of the summit. 15-25cm of 4F very moist snow on the surface. Firm crust and well settled snow below. 13,000 - 12,800 ft.

Avalanche

Size 1.5 skier triggered wet slab unintentional about half way down the run. E aspect, 13,000ft. Crown was about 25cm deep.
