Weather

Cold with moderate snowfall and moderate winds. At the top of the NTL elevation band there were times of heavy snowfall, strong winds, and intense loading. Did not venture ATL.

Snowpack

Around 6 inches of new snow by the afternoon generally sitting on a shallow yet supportable crust. The crust looked dusty. Found some significantly deeper drifts NTL and there was only around 2 inches of new snow at the trailhead.

Avalanche

Could get small dry loose avalanches to run above the crust in steep terrain.
