Sunny days with moderate afternoon SW winds. Temps remained cool with little snow surface melting.
Snowpack
Northerly aspects below treeline are holding onto sufficient snowdepth for riding, 50-70cm. There, the upper half of the pack continues to facet and the lower half is slowly losing some strength as well. Triggered facet sluffing was observed for the first time this season on a steep NE aspect below treeline. Surface faceting on east-southeast aspects if present is much shallower.
