Snowpack

Two 1cm melt-freeze crusts in the upper 15cm of snow cover. March snow has bonded well with seasonal snow forming a ~150cm cohesive slab (1F). Basal facet/depth hoar make up lower 15cm of snowpack. I could almost make a snowball with this layer; was nonreactive at slab/facet layer with deep tap test.
