Avalanche

Came across an avalanche debris field while while traversing the basin between Mt Columbia east ridge and SE ridge on our way to Colorado trail. Looked like it was very recent and went deep into woods and even up a slope knocking down trees. I could see several obvious slide shots up on Columbia's SE ridge NE face where it most likely came from. Slide was wider than usual as both sides of debris field had large trees taken down. Wish I had photos. I'll include map with our track and approximate location of slide.
