Weather
Sunny, temperatures were in the upper 20's throughout the trip. Winds were calm in the valley floor with no blowing snow visible on ridgetop.
Snowpack
South facing slopes are bare or only isolated remnants of snow remain even at the highest elevations. North facing slopes hold 30 to 40 cm of completely faceted and unchohesive snow at 10,500 feet, with well developed depth hoar crystals (2-3mm)apparent in thinner areas. On sunny aspects, melt-freeze crusts dominate the surface but the underlying snowpack is faceted and uncohesive to the ground
