Weather

Clear skies trending to partly cloudy. Moderate westerly winds BTL and NTL. Temperatures warmed to above freezing around 1pm. Blowing snow observed at ridge-top and valley bottom most of the day.

Snowpack

Variable windslab ~6in. observed on SW-S aspects, was able to initiate some cracking in this layer. Below the variable WS I found ~4-8in of f-4f new snow sitting on top of a ~4in MF layer.

Avalanche

No recent avalanche activity observed. Photo below shows an avalanche path that possibly saw some activity from March 2019.
