Weather
Spring squalls moved in and out of the Silverton area all day. Up to 3 inches of snow fell. Winds were light with moderate gusts out of the northwest. It felt cold and windy at ridgeline.
Snowpack
Over the past few days around 6 inches of snow fell in the Molas pass area. Drifts up to 18 inches were observed, but not reactive to ski cuts. Dust within the new snow. Cloud cover, mild temperatures, and winds kept the snow surface cold on all but protected slopes below treeline.
