Weather

At top of Buffalo Mtn, 12,800'. Windy, steady 25mph with gusts to 45mph. Clearing skies, with sustained times with peak in the cloud. 30-35 deg F.

Snowpack

New snowfall ranged from 4cm at trailhead to 20cm at summit in sheltered areas. Below treeline, old snow was not frozen. Observed minor sloughing while skiing.

Avalanche

Saw one new slide on east side of Peak S, about 10 miles north of Buffalo Mtn. From picture it looks like it could be significant sloughing of new snow but not totally sure from the distance. See pic.
