East Face of Baker Mountain; avalanche occurred at approximately 9800ft; Sunny and clear; temperature around noon was likely around 45 degrees Fahrenheit
Snowpack
We skied the line later than we wanted, but skied it intentionally fully aware we could trigger a small slide; as we were boot packing to the top we were sinking into the snow past our boot tops; I ski cut just below the convexity a couple feet before the small rock face; as I was ski cutting the slope broke and I skied off the left side of the rock to safety
