Weather

Streaming scattered clouds throughout the day, near freezing temps/ felt warm, strong SSW winds, no precip, though intense blowing snow, swirling at times.

Snowpack

Generally shallow < 1m(~3ft), measured HS 50-92cm in multiple locations, snowpack tests reveal failures from very easy to moderate results, mainly, at old and recent snow interfaces. See Media.

Avalanche

Did not see any avalanches. Plow drivers did not noticed any post storm evidence of avalanches within sight from road. A ranger at the entrance mentioned an avalanche along the cog railway but without any other details of size or elevation.
