Weather
Sunny skies in the morning with clouds building. Overcast with a few stray flurries by midday. Temperatures were mild, with light to calm westerly winds.
Snowpack
The snowpack in this area consists of three main layers- recent snows, which are consolidating into an ~60 cm thick 4f-P slab that gets harder with depth, a mid-pack layer of rounding facets, and at the base, large-grained facets from very early-season snows. Column tests were stubborn. There is still pronounced strong-over-weak layering, but it's much less reactive than shallower areas or what we saw last week.
