Avalanche

Approaching the SW ridge route on Mt. Sneffels, East Face, 13,000 ft, 45°. Partner attempted to go around the East Face on the far left side (in picture) and triggered a wide avalanche from below the SW ridge. Party moved to higher ground and the debris did not reach the base.
