Very warm late morning into early afternoon with temps well above freezing. Massive meltdown below 9,000'.

Avalanche

Saw numerous small avalanches around the lower Gunnison basin. Most in drifted spots, most broke to ground. Also saw one very large avalanche on Whetstone Mtn, plus several large storm slabs on a variety of aspects.
