Weather

Warm and overcast. Snowing S1-S2 most of the day. Light to moderate winds.

Snowpack

The snowpack is still gaining depth/strength on shaded aspects BTL and NTL. No signs of instability noted on slopes facing the north half of compass. East and southeast aspects seem to be extra touchy right now. This aspect is thinner and holds crust/facet combos below the last couple storm layers. Other parties are reporting rolling collapses on SE-facing terrain near treeline. Expecting to see increased natural and triggered activity in these shallower areas that have storm snow overlying crusts and facets.

Avalanche

Ski cut produced a slide approx. 14"x100'x100', ESE aspect near treeline. Failed on a crust/facet layer two storms or so down from the surface.
