Weather

Temperatures hovered near the freezing mark throughout the trip. Recent new snow was moist and globby on skins. No visible blowing snow at ridgeline.

Snowpack

No cracking or collapsing observed today. Extended column tests near and below treeline only produced hard, non-propagating results in the depth hoar. The snowpack is generally 1 to 1.5 meters deep. The early February storm near the top has settled to about 30 cm of 1 finger wind effected rounds. The mid-pack is mostly 1 finger- to 4 finger+ rounding facets. The basal depth hoar is starting to show signs of rounding but is still mostly cohesion-less
