Weather
Broken skies and WSW winds 10-15 mph.
Snowpack
As the surface becomes stiffer the snowpack's ability to propagate has increased. On southeast slopes 5inches to 2ft of a hard wind crust sits above a facet, crust, facet sandwich. Yum! Digging on a southeast slope at 11,000 ft, we observed very easy propagating results 25 cm down, failing on weak facets below a crust.
Avalanche
A whole charcuterie board of avalanches. Majority were small and on southeast slopes. Two snowmobile triggered one of which was remote. Two skier triggered with a sympathetic. One D2 natural on a northeast. And a variety of D1 naturals on northeast, east, and southeast slopes.
