Skied from a high point of 2295m. Winds were calm, temps stayed low all day except on solar aspects, which started to get Sun affected up to 2200m by the end of the day. 20-25cm of storm snow, evidence of some wind from the day prior. No obvious signs of instability. Skied over several small convex rolls with no results. Significant sluffing (ran from ridge line to the bottom of the start zone) of the storm snow from steep east facing terrain, but it didn’t appear to trigger any slabs. Very large cornices forming on lee ridges.
