A large upslope storm left up 100cm of light snow for the gale force westerlies to redeposit yesterday. Shooting cracks were common although there was no surface upon which for the slab to slide.... Although future storm snow, which should be arriving soon will now have a great bed surface for sliding. We saw some loose snow avalanches in extremely steep terrain protected from the westerly winds.
