Great day trip to the Farm. About 200cm snowpack at 1430m. Still a lot of alders in the open areas but it was pretty great above 1300m or so - just a bit of a bushwhack on the way back to the truck. We dug a quick pit on a NE aspect at 1430m and didn't find anything concerning (see snowpack section for more details). Did a couple laps in fairly mellow trees but did get onto a couple pitches around 35 degrees. There was a bit of sluffing with the new snow but nothing crazy. Even though the snowpack seems well set up below treeline out here it's still a good idea to avoid terrain traps like the steep creek draws in the area.

Dug about 125cm into the 200cm snowpack (based on our terrain goals for the day figured a metre deep was reasonable, although in hindsight would have been good to see if there was anything interesting at ground level). The snowpack in our pit looked great, top 40cm or so was soft powder and below that was a nice consolidated layer as far as we dug down. No concerning layers to speak of that we saw and no results in a compression test. Take this with a grain of salt as we were in a sheltered area below treeline...sounds like there are some interesting layers to be aware of in other nearby areas.
