Good conditions on the Patterson couloirs on Sunday. Observed evidence of loose dry slough in the couloir and on adjacent steep/overhead terrain, probably from the snowfall/wind combo the day before. No avalanches observed on the terrain visible from the route. The top 20 m was wind effected and the snowpack degraded to 30-60 cm wind slab on facets. See "snowpack" for pit results at the top of the fan.
