Rode Valley bottom and No Dogs trees. They held more powder snow as they were not sun affected. Snow over 1000 m was nice and fluffy. Below there was crust (easily breakable) with maybe 1in of snow on top. Observed some avalanches coming through Iron Curtain and avi path near Geronimo. Maybe sz 2 triggered by snow falling off rocks/trees. It was very warm. I skinned up in just my base layer. Experienced tree bombs were sun hit the trees. Around 4-5pm, groomers at Shames that had seen sun all day had frozen stiff and riding was ugly.
