Avalanche

Observed a large, natural hard slab avalanche on SE aspect that must have come down during the storm on 1/21. R3 D3.5, start zone at approx 12,200'. Crown line about 500' long, ran over Herman Gulch trail, about 1600'. Debris blocks were quite large, and deposition zone very deep. Several medium/large sized trees present in debris.
