Approximately 20 degrees Fahrenheit, slight cloud coverage, 30-40 mph gusts from W-NW, intermittent light snowfall in beginning of day

our group experienced a loud whoompf and saw a crack propagate 10 feet over a very stiff slab on the NW saddle between Ball and East ball mtn. No further investigation was done
