Weather
Windy and chillier than expected. Cloud cover increased throughout the tour.
Snowpack
Southerly winds continue to stiffen the snow surface on leeward slope and stripped windward slopes. A 5 cm 4-finger surface slab was observed, even in protected coulior areas. The surface slab would break under your feet, but in general was not reactive. The new snow from earlier in the week bonded well to the preexisting snow surface. Many high consequence slopes being tested without incident. Small cornice development also observed.
Avalanche
No new avalanche activity observed.
