Snowpack

Travelled below treeline. Generally faceted snowcover with localized collapsing as you approached slopes. Surface hoar from 2-7mm on all slopes below treeline. On slopes in the sun, surface hoar was melting and forming a thin crust by noon. Easy CT and ETCP results in snowpack tests on Gunbarrel at a change in hardness/size in mid-pack depth hoar. No results from Big Slide as where I dug lacks slab. Areas in the path are cross-loaded and deeper than the area I observed.
