Avalanche

Saw evidence of a skier triggered avalanche either late Saturday afternoon or early Sunday morning. Skied Marble Bowl both days and had watched tracks creep closer and closer to the steeper NE facing sub-bowl (slightly north of the main bowl, between main runs and the skin track). When we got there Sunday (early afternoon) we observed a previous skier triggered avalanche on the south (closest to main bowl) side of the sub-bowl. Skier had made one or two turns in the steeper section (upper 30 degree estimate) before triggering a small slide approximately 8ft wide and ran for 100ft or so. There was not much evidence of a crown (more loose snow, maybe soft slab). Between the small size of the slide, and the fact that getting up to it would have required crossing terrain we didn't feel comfortable with, we did not get up to it to inspect closer.
